The function of the drill-up is used for the following questions:
- In which reports or cells was a deal included?
- Why was a deal not included in a report or a cell?
First, the user has to look in the “general object search” for the specific deal. Then a link to “reports” can be found on the deal overview page.
There you get an overview of all reports with colour markings, whether the deal has been included in a report ("green") or not ("red").
When the user clicks on a report (whether the deal is included in this report or not), the report opens with the data of the last execution.
Now the cells of the report are coloured, depending on whether the deal was included in the amount of the cell ("green") or not ("red").
If you click on an amount, in addition to the normal drilldown-values, the filter rules for the selected cell and the selected deal are displayed.
The filter rules for the cell are coloured individually in order to show if they apply to the deal "green”, or not “red”. At the same time, the values for the rules are placed opposite the value for the deal.
This gives the user a simple and clear explanation of why a deal is included in a cell or a report or vice versa why it has been excluded.
